MIKASA® opened up a drastic new sewing technology – the “TwinSTLock TM” stitching technology.
Innovation has changed the stitching method from current 2 thread crossing style(so-called Perfect
Stitching) to a hook and wring system(Perfect Stitching plus Hitch Stitching) that prevents stitched
panels to open up and to loose its shape after a certain period of playing.

MIKASA® reduced the thickness of the thread.  This move substantially softened the touch around
the stitched part(seams) as well as it gives the balls a harmonic and smooth look of beauty and
dramatically reduces the sand adhering.  The grip of the ball due to this change is massively improved.
